By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

The owners of Slam Forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Respect other peoples views: - Everyone has different views on different topics, respect their views as you would expect them to respect yours.

No swearing - It really is as simple as it sounds. The admin team will substitute swear words with the well known, '****'. However some words will not have been censored as of yet, and are not suitable on this forum, anybody who avoids the **** filter or posts any swearing apart from '****' will not be tolerated.

Don't post for the sake of your post count. - It's always nice to have a high post count, it may seem as though people will respect you more with a higher number beside your name - but it doesn't really mean anything on these forums. We respect each of you whether you have 1 post or 1000. If we think you are posting for the sake of your rank, we will assign you your very own rank:'Ridiculous Poster'. This means it's not allowed to post comments like "i dono" or "why" or "yeah". Furthering this, all posts on the forum must contain at least 9 characters.

Don't post messages containing anymore than 15 smileys. - This causes a lot of lag so don't do it.

Don't double post. - Don't post more than one message in a row. If you need to write something else, simply edit your post which you can do by clicking the appropriate icon on the post.

Don't give your msn or email or ask for somebody else's. - To protect people from getting hacked, it's strictly forbidden to tell your msn or email or ask for somebody else's msn or email in a post or Personal Message. If you need to contact somebody send them a Personal Message. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Do not pretend to work for Slam Forums - Either by telling anybody in a post or by having this added to your profile in any way.

Do not use Personal Messages for advertising.

Do not display any images in your signature - If you want to show off any alterations please add them to the correct part of the forum.

Do not post anything that can be considered as being rude or insulting towards people working for Slam Forums. - We don't allow any form of abuse, but are extra sensitive when it comes to Slam Forum staff.

Do not name anybody for hacking , scripting , trashing or any other bad things. - This just causes trouble on the forum and you will then end up in trouble.

Please let the Administrators and the Moderators deal with any broken rules or problems - Do not post telling another member they have broken the rules as it causes trouble, if you think there has been a rule broken post a brief description and location of the post and perhaps even add a link to the post in the 'Report Abuse' so we can take any action if needed. Alternatively, click the small red and white triangular shaped icon in the top right hand corner of the post, which will report the post to a forum moderator, or administrator.

Do not ignore a Moderator's warning. - Due to certain people not respecting our hard working staff we have now introduced a temporary ban for less severe cases but after one temporary ban the next ban you will receive is a permanent one. If you discover you are banned check your email that you have registered with us and you will have an explanation why and for how long.

When in the competition forum only post competition entries. - Do not post questions or comments as is not the place to do so.

If you don't follow these rules, you will get a warning, a temporary ban or a permanent ban
